She has without a doubt enjoyed somewhat of an image transformation over the last few years.
And none more so on Wednesday night when she put on a futuristic performance for fans at the launch of her new EP.
Charlotte decked herself out in UV paint and colourful lights as she sang her new tracks for the gathered crowd at Riverside studios.

tentacles of lights that made her look a bit like a Sci-Fi version of
the Little Mermaid character
As well bubble machines and a UV
light show, the former opera singer's Sci-Fi inspired costume was
controlled by the audience, who seemed to be able to change the colours
as she performed.The event was called 'Entanglement' after the EP's lead track and the scientific theory it was inspired by.
The crowd were given UV make-up and glowing accessories as they entered the event, so that they lit up beneath her neon light installation. London Contemporary Voices choir provided backing vocals for the performance.

After the show on Wednesday,
Charlotte was spotted in the same waterproof coat she had worn for her new
music video, and a bright smile on her face.Gone was the Avatar-like paint and futuristic costumes, leaving the 28-year old looking fresh-faced
as she headed home, no doubt back to her two children.

The mother-of-two looked in high spirits and the day before tweeted: ‘Got the incredible DJ Emma Islet opening my show in London tomorrow night. Can't wait! @emma_daman.’
Her comeback arrives just as Charlotte admits she can't afford to fund the lifestyle she has grown accustomed to.

The singer, who was down to £11m by
2010, said she has enough to live comfortably - but needs to find a new
way to fund her extravagant lifestyle.She said: 'I've got enough to be comfortable if I was reasonable for the rest of my life but I'm not reasonable, so I will have to find a way to sustain my lifestyle.'
