There's a new Web-ster in town! Coronation Street to be invaded by fatal spiders in upcoming plotline

Although soaps are known for depicting real-life stories, Coronation Street are taking things a little further with a new plotline involving killer spiders.

According to Daily Star, show bosses are hoping the eight-legged critters will bring some humour to the ITV drama.

Anna Windass, played by Debbie Rush, startles the residents after learning that local supermarket Freshco’s, has been shut after a worker there was bitten by one of the spiders.
