All eyes were on Lily Allen when she walked the red carpet at the NME awards 2014 on Wednesday. The singer was awarded with a gong for Best Solo Artist at the prestigious event, beating Kanye West and David Bowie.
The star headed to London's 02 Brixton Academy and wore an eccentric sixties-style shift dress and threw a bright furry jacket over her shoulder.
She was in high spirits as she arrived at the event, where Arctic Monkeys, Damon Albarn, Paul McCartney and Blondie also attended.

Lily, who is enjoying her time back in the limelight showed off her slim figure in her mini dress which was made up of orange, black and white panels.
She gave herself some extra inches by throwing on an iridescent white pair of sky-high stilettos which complemented her tanned legs and she carried a pricey black Louis Vuitton bag.
But perhaps the most striking item of all was the green and blue furry jacket that she threw over one shoulder like some type of stole.

black and blue hair up in an Audrey-Hepburn style 'do. The
singer took to her Twitter page earlier in the day to hit back at those
who had been criticising her over her mothering skills, after her busy
few weeks in the spotlight.
She wrote: 'good morning, i'm getting alot of nasty messages in my feed about my children. Thank you for your concern, but i assure you they are fine.'
No doubt she was happy to put the incident behind her and enjoy her night.
The 68-year-old teamed the outrageous number with a pair of lime green metallic mules as she posed with the rest of Blondie.
In true showbiz style, the artist soon changed into a second outfit - a bright red pair of trousers, a matching top and an eccentric gold jacket and matching trainers.
Paul McCartney collected the special, one-off honour of NME's Songwriter's Songwriter, while Damon Albarn picked up the brand new NME Award For Innovation.

Johnny Marr, Two Door Cinema Club and Alt-J also attended while the Sugababes performed.
Best New Band winners Drenge performed as did The Horrors, who performed I See You from their forthcoming album. Metronomy also played alongside Blondie, who have been named this year's Godlike Genius.
In addition, Belle & Sebastian received the Teenage Cancer Trust Outstanding Contribution To Music Award and also performed live.
They designed three drinks for the event: Patrón Mexican Mule, Patrón & Tonic and Patrón Raging Bull, but Paul McCartney had orange Patrón margaritas made just for him.
Each of the 71 VIP tables had its very own bottle of Patrón Silver and for those lucky enough to gain access backstage, Patrón Tequila mixologist Zoran Peric shaked up some extra special cocktails including Patrón Manhattans and Patrón Lazy Margaritas.
