They don’t do dates by half measures on The Only Way Is Essex.
Fran Parman learned that the hard way when she was taking to a dry ski slope with Tom Pearce this week.
But luckily for Tom, it gave him an excuse to keep his arms around Fran, who seemed too petrified to notice his romantic embrace.
Fun date: Tom Pearce takes Fran Parman to Brentwood Ski and Snowboard Centre Slopes to film scenes for TOWIE
Wearing skis, Tom stood behind the poor girl, and they positioned their feet in the parallel position before heading down the slope.
Pearce had a cheeky smile on her face, while Fran looked like she might cry.
The Essex boy has got the hots for his best mate James 'Diags' Bennewith's new housemate, although he’s not so impressed about the feminine touches she’s brought to their home.
Petrified: The poor girl looked so scared as they paralleled their way down the dry slope
Change of tune: Tom didn't seem interested in Fran, but then enticed her with his six pack in Wednesday night's episode of TOWIE
Love triangle: Tom's best friend Diags also fancies Fran, who is his housemate too
‘Why do you have this many candles?’ Tom asked before blowing them out and dumping her flowers in the bin. ‘No-one has this many candles!’
But to Brentwood's Ski and Snowboard Slopes they went, where Mark Wright had previously taken Sam Faiers for a date in an earlier series.
But it didn’t seem like Tom was a great instructor, as Fran toppled over a few times; however she did keep a smile on her face throughout the day.
Whoops: Fran falls over a few times during the session
Up you get: Tom helps her regain her balance, but she seemed in good spirits throughout the day
Pearce briefly dated Lucy Mecklenburgh in the last series, and was disappointed when she ended their short-lived romance.
But this new romance could cause trouble, as Diags also fancies Fran, which he revealed in Wednesday night’s episode to James ‘Arg’ Argent.
And Tom turns up topless to interrupt the housemates’ new workout regime, and to entice Fran.
Show off: Tom makes it clear that he's an old pro at skiing
