'Hey Arby's, you want my hat?' Pharrell Williams eBays his infamous Grammys fedora to raise funds for children's charity

It was the unexpected star of the Grammys.
And now the infamous huge fedora that Pharrell Williams wore to the show is being auctioned off on eBay - with the proceeds benefiting his charity for at-risk youths.
The 40-year-old singer made quite the stir in the oversized Mountain Hat by British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.
The skyscraping park ranger-style headgear became a popular search on Google and even inspired its own Twitter account called Pharrell's Hat

Pharrell put the big brown hat up for auction on Thursday with bidding scheduled to end on March 2 - and noted the winning bidder will receive a letter of authenticity.
The bidding opened at $200 and the high bid in just hours had reached $10,500.
'Hey @Arbys, you want my hat? Now’s your chance…,' Pharrell tweeted to his nearly three million followers on Twitter as he announced the auction.

The Get Lucky singer was referencing the American fast-food sandwich chain Arby's and its large red hat logo.
The outlandish hat was a major hit at the Grammys with stars such as Beyonce, Jay-Z, Ryan Seacrest and Ariana Grande posing for pictures with Pharrell wearing the lid.
Pharrell earlier this month busted out a grey version of the $180 Mountain Hat while visiting the BBC Radio 1 studios in London and also donned the grey version at the 86th Academy Awards nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills.

The Blurred Lines collaborator also sported the hard-to-miss hat at the National Basketball Association All-Star game earlier this month and at the BRITS awards on Wednesday.
The Oscar nominee for Best Original Song for Happy from Despicable Me 2 will direct all proceeds from the charity auction to his non-profit From One Hand To Another foundation.
The foundation helps under-served youths by creating learning centers to empower children to learn through new technologies, arts and media.
