So while he is unable to mark it in style due to the ongoing football season, his wife Coleen has been able to celebrate it on his behalf on holiday in Barbados.

Showing off the results of her gym sessions, the 27-year-old WAG showcased her tan in a Melissa Odabash 'Grenada' snake-print bikini.
Relaxing at the beach at the Sandy Lane resort, Coleen was seen doting on her nine-month-old son Klay and his big brother Kai, four.
Baby Klay was well-protected from the sun in a navy swimming suit, but appeared to love being in the water with his mother.

Meanwhile, Kai kept his grandfather Anthony McLoughlin on his feet as they chased each other along the sand.

As many will know, the Rooneys are regulars to Barbados and visit the island at least twice a year.

Coleen first brought baby Klay last October - again with her parents, with Wayne stuck in the UK due to the season.
Although Coleen visits the island two to three times a year, Wayne hasn't been spotted in the Caribbean since May 2012.
Last month, Coleen ended up in a Twitter row with some of her followers after she tweeted swimwear designer Melissa Odabash for the free swimwear she had received.
