RVP back to Arsenal? It's not the time to talk about that, says Wenger as Gunners prepare for visit of United

All quiet: Arsene Wenger refuses to be drawn on whether Robin van Persie could return to Arsenal

Arsene Wenger has refused to be drawn on the possibility of Arsenal re-signing Robin van Persie from Manchester United.
The Dutch striker left for Old Trafford in the summer of 2012 and lifted the Premier League trophy in his first season.
However, Van Persie has struggled for form and fitness this time around and Sportsmail revealed in our 'Football Grapevine' column earlier this month that he could favour a move back to North London.

United travel to Arsenal on Wednesday night and, when asked if Van Persie could return to the club at his pre-match press conference, Wenger said: 'I don't think that's an ideal subject for us to speak about.'
Meanwhile, Wenger admits that Mesut Ozil did not enjoy a ‘good day’ during the 5-1 mauling by Liverpool on Saturday.
The German was criticised for his performance in the wake of the heavy loss at Anfield but looks set to keep his place in the side for the visit of United.
And Wenger said: ‘He was like everyone on Saturday, he wasn't on a good day.

‘He works hard in training to improve, there's no-one to ostracise from that game. He has done well adapting to the Premier League.
‘I don't want to put too much pressure on him. He is adapting to the pressure of the Premier League. He can deal with the criticism.’
The Gunners lost top spot to Chelsea at the weekend and Wenger is expecting a reaction against United.

‘Of course, we will talk in a positive way, I'm convinced of that (a reaction) - that's what we want to do,’ said the French boss.
‘To lose a game is always disappointing but it was an accident and we have to see it like that. We had just come off a 10-game unbeaten run. It was not a welcome accident. But we have to respond, in any season that's the same.’
Arsenal have no new injury concerns from the weekend with Aaron Ramsey still sidelined because of a thigh problem.
