Olivia Wilde strips naked in new trailer for upcoming flick Third Person... but not even her killer curves are enough to boost the critical failure

The naked truth! Olivia Wilde strips down to her birthday suit in the newly-released trailer for her upcoming movie Third Person, alongside Liam Neeson - but by all accounts it's not enough to save the 'audacious failure' of a filmShe's currently eight and a half months pregnant, but in her latest film role, Olivia Wilde strips off for a rather racy nude scene.
Set in Paris, Rome and New York, Third Person features three interconnecting love stories, with the stunning brunette teaming up with Liam Neeson for the French portion of the romantic saga.
After leaving his wife, played by Kim Basinger, the former lovers reunite as viewers explore their tumultuous on-off relationship - including several raunchy love scenes in which the actress sheds
her clothes and inhibitions as she parades around naked for the cameras.

The most touching story sees Mila Kunis play a mother whose son is taken away from her after she
is accused of trying to suffocate him.

She is partnered with James Franco, as her ex-husband, who gains custody of their child and is unwilling to listen to her protestations of innocence as he does everything in his power to keep her away from the boy.
Written and directed by Oscar-winner Paul Haggis, the controversial figure behind Crash, Million Dollar Baby and Casino Royale among other films, the movie got a lukewarm reception to say the least when it debuted at last year's Toronto International Film Festival.

A tale of three cities: The plot revolves around three interconnecting love stories set in Paris, Rome and New York, with Wilde and Neeson starring in the French portion as lovers reunited after he leaves his wife, though a terrible secret sees the stunning brunette unable to commit

Critics were decidedly harsh in their reviews of the flick, which they called an epic fail despite its impressive all-star cast.
From the 31-year age difference between Neeson and Wilde - he's 61 and she's 30 - resulting in apparently 'pretty gross' and 'icky' sex scenes to two 'stunning' plot twists described as 'absolutely disgusting' that will 'induce vomiting', Chris Bumbray's review of the movie for JoBlo.com paints a very bleak picture indeed.
He concludes: 'Suffice to say, the only way this could be enjoyed is as an unintentional comedy, were it not so boring.' Ouch.
Not appealing: Sex scenes between 30-year-old Wilde and Neeson, 61, were described as 'pretty gross' and 'icky', with their romance far from believable to viewers

Plenty to be proud of: While the star is currently eight and a half months pregnant, she was fighting fit and only too happy to show off her enviably trim and toned figure at the time the movie was filmed

Indiewire writer Kevin Jagernauth similarly had nothing good to say about Haggis' latest offering.
'A disastrously and ludicrously awful effort from the writer/director, absolutely nothing works in this facile, cliche-filled and astoundingly dull film that trades in cheap drama and soap opera theatrics,' he begins.
'Third Person is such an inept and bungled disaster of a movie, it almost feels a bit too harsh to treat it as a punching bag. That said, it's truly shocking just how far and wide Haggis misses the mark.'
New York state of mind: Mila Kunis's story of a mother whose son is taken away from her after she is accused of trying to suffocate him, placed in the custody of her ex-husband, played by James Franco, has been described as the most touching story of the three

'Even its starry cast can't save it': A bedraggled Kim Basinger also stars as Neeson's estranged wife, while Adrien Brody and Moran Atias round out the third love story, set in Rome

He pulls no punches as he ends: 'Third Person is an audacious failure, one that even its starry cast can't save. With a trite script, and an even more glib thematic undercurrent, Third Person is nothing short of an outright embarrassment.'
While the R-rated film may not have been a hit with critics, it's entirely possible that the negative reviews could act as encouragement to viewers, who will swarm to the cinema to see for themselves
if it really is as bad as they say.

However, they may have to wait some time yet, with the movie still to receive a US release date.
Bumping along nicely: The actress is currently expecting her first child with fiancé Jason Sudeikis - a son due in less than three weeks, on May 4 - pictured here in Boston on April 4
