Beyonce is just like us! The singing superstar got in some Christmas shopping with a trip to a Walmart store in Tewksbury, Mass on Friday, Dec. 20.
According to Us Weekly the 32-year-old singer spent the previous evening celebrating the release of her already bestselling fifth studio album with a Brooklyn show and
an album release party. She then made the trek to Tewksbury and managed to pick up some toys for her 23-month-old daughter Blue Ivy.
The singer who pushed her own cart up and down the aisles even popped in a copy of “Beyonce” to buy. Physical copies of the CD went on sale that day, a week after its top secret iTunes release.
Beyonce showed off her maternal side by cuddling a baby girl and telling her, “You are beautiful,” which one person posted on Instagram video.
And Queen B got right into the Christmas spirit by addressing the crowd on the store’s loudspeaker. She also left them with something to cheer about. Each shopper received a $50 Walmart gift card courtesy of the songstress. They were enclosed in envelopes that read, “Happy Holidays from Beyonce.”
