He recently had to have his jaw wired after shattering it in a bizarre accident.
And now Zac Efron has poked fun at the incident by revealing it was a disappointed lover rather than slipping in a puddle that caused his injury
in a new hilarious video.
He stars alongside his Awkward Moment co-stars Miles Teller and Michael B Jordan, who do all of the talking while the movie hunks grunts in approval at their claims an angry woman slammed a 'heavy book' into his face due to his poor performance in bed.
Jaw breaking news: Zac Efron stars alongside Miles Teller and Michael B Jordan in a video mocking his accident last month
The clip opens with text saying, 'Recently Zac Efron broke his jaw claiming he "slipped on a puddle." 'Here's the real story.'
It then shows the 26-year-old sitting on a chair flanked by his friends.
Miles and Michael, who complete each others sentences, then reveal: 'Should we tell everyone how it actually happened?
'So Zac was at home with a girl, giving her the worst sexual experience of her life, absolute worst.
'But she was getting into it until she realised you were finished, so early.
'And this poor girl's pent up sexual energy, which you failed to satisfy, made her angry.
Lots of comedy mileage: Miles was able to spin out a whole hilarious yarn about Zac's injury
Stare Jordan: Michael was not afraid to get in his friend's face as he drove home his hilarious points
'So angry that she picked up a book, a heavy book, and slammed it right into your beautiful face.'
The excited pair then start to describe how they think the actor is so good looking he resembles a fantasy character.
They say: 'Goddamit it is beautiful, it's like a wizard holding a unicorn, and that book broke that unicorn's jaw.
'That's how it happened. Case closed.
'He is still good looking though. Kind of p***** me off.'
The pair then share high fives, with a fed up looking Zac staring into the distance while holding onto his face.
The hunk will be hoping his jolly send-up will draw a line under the whole incident.
Tongue tied: Zac was forced to issue grunts of approval as the dynamic duo spun their shaggy dog story
Loving it: Miles and Michael seemed to revel in joshing their unfortunately accident prone friend
It was first reported that he broke his jaw on November 10 after slipping on a puddle outside his home.
However it was later claimed he actually fell into a glass coffee table at his home after a night of partying.
The incident came after the actor went to rehab twice this year to deal with an alleged 'cocaine addiction'.
The actor, who supposedly alone at the time, was said to be so petrified of calling an ambulance, he instead asked a pal to take him to hospital.
