And although Hugh Jackman has been lined up to star in a host of other films in the New Year, he has still managed to take some time out to relax with his family and
friends back home.
The 45-year-old was spotted on the beach in Melbourne, Australia, with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 57, and their two children Oscar, 13, and Ava, 8, alongside a group of friends.

It appeared that Hugh was entertaining the children with a game of cricket, and was seen both throwing the ball and batting on the sand.
Hugh was dressed incognito for the occasion - wearing a large straw cowboy hat, a classic Adidas zipper top and a pair of tie-dye swimming trunks.
He kept a couple of black plimsolls on his feet and shaded his eyes with a pair of sunglasses so that he could concentrate on the game in hand.

It has been reported that Hugh and his family are staying with Deborra-Lee Furness' parents over Christmas.
The star, who is originally from Sydney, Austalia, was in his home city just a few days earlier and seen enjoying a swim in the sea. wearing the same fetching pair of blue and white tie-dye trunks.
Hugh and Deborra, who appear to be enjoying spending quality time together over the festive period, even enjoyed a double date night by the waterfront with fellow Aussie Naomi Watts and her significant other, Liev Schreiber.

Adopted son Oscar, was also sporting the cool, mismatched look, with a red check baker boy cap, a blue and white stripy top, and a pair of khaki three-quarter length trousers.
He looked to be getting into the game, spotted shouting as one of the youngsters prepared to hit the ball that Hugh threw over to her.
Hugh married his wife in Melbourne in 1996, and following two miscarriages, they decided to adopt Oscar Maximillian and Ava Eliot.

Hugh's acting career is still going full steam ahead, with a small role in the sci-fi comedy Chappie, which has already begun production in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He will also be back as Wolverine in a just announced Untitled Wolverine Sequel.
Jackman will put his larger-than-life screen presence into full swing when he plays circus-founder P.T. Barnum in the just-announced The Greatest Showman On Earth.
